The Lady Cougars ended their short two game lsing streak as they held off the Lady Bucks of Motlow by a 73-67 final.  Cleveland saw their hosts jump out to a 7-0 lead in the first minutes of the contest.  Enter Hannah Phillips from the bench, and the Lady Cougars quickly tied the contest and went on to lead at the end of the first quarter 22-11.  Phillips scored 11 of the 22 points in the period. 

The Lady Cougars extended the lead to 17 as they led 43-26 at the half.  Still holding a double digit lead going into the last quarter, they saw Motlow get as close as 3 points with two minutes left before connecting on 4 of 6 free throws down the stretch to secure their second conferenced win.

Ebony Kelley led the squad with 21 points and 18 rebounds in the game.  Phillips would finish with 19 to go with five steals and five blocked shots.  Abby Hubert totaled 11 points while Jordan Smith and Julia Gaither each finished with 10 apiece.  Smith, Gaither, and Phillips each finished with three assists.
