Season-in-Review: Men's Golf

Men's Golf completed their second spring season after the sport's return to Cleveland State with multiple highlights.

The Cougars opened their spring on Mar. 4-5 at River Islands Golf Club in Kodak, Tenn. Cleveland State placed 4th overall at the event with a total score of 685. That placing was their highest of the spring.

In their conference postseason play on April 23 and 24, the Cougars finished 5th overall at the District J Championships to begin their postseason play. In this tournament, which took place at Chateau Elon Golf Club in Braselton, Ga., Colbe Cagle placed 11th overall and earned an individual qualification for the Division II National Championships.

At the National Championships in Plymouth, Ind. on May 20-24, Cagle played well in his four rounds, shooting two of his best scores of the year of 75 and 73 in the second and fourth rounds to place 62nd overall out of 131 golfers.
