Baseball continues their homestand on Tuesday as they host Gordon State in a one-game matchup. First pitch is scheduled for 2:00 ET.
The Cougars are coming off of an excellent series vs. St. Charles on Friday and Saturday in which they swept the Cougars 4-0. The sweep brings their record to 7-3 overall and they remain a perfect 7-0 at home. Gordon State sits at 7-5 on their season. They last played on Saturday, when they defeated Chipola 6-4. Cleveland State will be looking for revenge on the Highlanders, who swept them in a two-game series in Barnesville, Ga. back on Feb. 15.
After this series, the Cougars will travel to Jackson, Tenn. for their first conference series of 2020 at Jackson State on Friday and Saturday. Friday's single-game is set to begin at 2:00 ET, while Saturday's doubleheader will get underway at 12:00 ET.
