Baseball will play their first conference series of the year at Jackson State on Friday and Saturday. Friday's single-game will get underway at 3:00 ET, while Saturday's doubleheader is set to begin at 1:00 ET.
The Cougars were last in action on Tuesday, when they suffered a home loss to Gordon State. Prior to the loss, Cleveland State won four straight games. Their record on the year sits at 7-4. The Green Jays of Jackson State are 2-8 on the season after a tough opening schedule. They were last in action last Friday and Saturday, when they lost three of four in their series with McHenry County.
In last year's season series, the Cougars swept the Green Jays 2-0. The first game of their series was cancelled due to rain.
After this series, Cleveland State will return home to face Sinclair. The single game between the two teams is scheduled to begin at 2:00 ET.
