Jim Cigliano was served in multiple administrative roles at Cleveland State from 1967-2005.
He served as the Athletic Director of Cleveland State for 22 years from 1975-1996. During his time as Athletic Director, he accomplished the following:
Helped guide Cleveland State to become the first two-year college in Tennessee to see all of its sports programs participate in the NJCAA National Tournament
Organized the Cougar Club, which raised funds for the college's athletic programs
Served as Director of NJCAA Region VII for 12 years
Served as Director of the NJCAA National Tennis Tournament
Cigliano is also a member of the TCCAA Hall of Fame, Bradley County Hall of Fame, and the Cleveland Old-Timers Hall of Fame. He was also one of the first administrators in the college's history and was Cleveland State's first Admissions Director.
