Liz Hannah Jackson played Women's Basketball for the Lady Cougars from 1975-1976. She was the first player to sign with the Women's Basketball program at Cleveland State. During her time playing for the Lady Cougars, she accomplished the following:
Led the 1975 NJCAA National Tournament in scoring
Named an NJCAA All-American in 1975 and 1976
Named to the National All-Tournament team in 1975 and 1976
Named All-Region for the 1974-1975 and 1975-1976 seasons
Named the 1976 Region MVP
Averaged 23.4 points per game in her career
Jackson went on to play two seasons at Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, Tenn. after her time at Cleveland State. She was a member of the Tennessee All-Stars that played the Russian Olympic Team in 1976 and is also a member of the Great Chattanooga Sports Hall of Fame.
