Mike Moore played Baseball for the Cougars from 1974-1976. During his time at Cleveland State, he accomplished the following:
- Became the first Cleveland State Baseball player named an NJCAA First Team All-American
- Was named team MVP in 1976
- Led the Cougars in batting average, wins, and ERA in 1976
- Ranked eighth overall nationally as a team in 1976
Moore is also a member of the Greater Chattanooga Sports Hall of Fame.
