Julie Thornton Johnson played Women's Basketball for the Lady Cougars from 1998-2000 and Softball for the Lady Cougars from 1999-2000. During her time at Cleveland State, she accomplished the following:
Named the 2000 Tennessee/Kentucky Women's Basketball All-Star Game MVP
Named the Dr. D.F. Adkisson Female Athlete of the Year in 2000
Won the Community First Service Award
Johnson currently lives in Ocoee, Tenn. where she works as the Steward of Sunshine, Marketing Director, and a River Guide at Adventures Unlimited. She also currently serves as the President of the Ocoee River Jam, which just donated $20,000 to the youth of the Ocoee Region. She is married to her husband Jimmy and they enjoy spending time outside with their three dogs.
