Men's Basketball will look to get back on track on Saturday as they welcome Columbia State to their home floor. Gametime is set for 4:00 ET.

The Cougars are in need of a win, as they sit at 5-9 on the season and 2-4 in conference play. They lost a nail-biter in overtime on Wednesday to Motlow State by a score of 83-74 and now currently hold the spot of the seventh seed in the conference standings. 

This will be a crucial game for both teams, as Columbia State sits just above Cleveland State in the seeding as sixth overall. They have an 11-6 record overall, but a 3-4 record to this point of the season in TCCAA play. The Chargers are currently in the midst of a seven-game winning streak, including defeating Dyersburg State on Wednesday.

The Cougars took the season series 2-1 over Columbia State last season. One of their two wins came in the TCCAA Tournament semi-finals, when they defeated the Chargers 70-66 en route to a TCCAA Championship.

After this matchup, the Cougars will host Chattanooga State on Wednesday. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 ET.
