Men's Basketball will hope to get back on track on Saturday as they host Volunteer State. Tip-off is scheduled for 4:00 ET.

In their last four games, the Cougars have played to a 2-2 split, bringing their overall record to 7-11 and their conference record to 4-5. Cleveland State currently sits at eighth overall in the conference. They most recently played on Tuesday, falling 98-92 to Combine Academy.

Volunteer State has been in the midst of a tough stretch. They have lost their last ten contests, including their most recent game at Chattanooga State 77-74. The Pioneers have a 3-12 overall record and an 0-9 record in TCCAA play.

The Cougars have a favorable record against Volunteer State since 2001. They are 23-9 against the Pioneers in that stretch and have 12 of their last 13 against their conference foe from Gallatin. Cleveland State split the season series with Volunteer State last year, winning 78-73 in Cleveland on Dec. 8, 2018 and falling 76-64 in Gallatin on Feb. 2, 2019.
