PREVIEW: Cougs Travel to Tigers For Crucial TCCAA Matchup Wednesday

Men's Basketball will look to continue to grow their seeding spot in the TCCAA Tournament heading into the end of the regular season as they travel to Chattanooga State on Wednesday. Tip-off is set for 7:30 ET. 

The Cougars fell in their last game on Saturday at a tough Columbia State team. Their record now sits at 9-16 overall and 6-10 in conference play, good for ninth overall in the conference. This game is huge for Cleveland State, as the Tigers of Chatt State sit just ahead of them at eighth in the conference standings. Chatt State has a 9-15 overall record and 6-9 record in the TCCAA, suffering a loss to Dyersburg State in their last game on Saturday.

Cleveland State had the upper hand when these two teams last met on Jan. 15, taking a very narrow 65-63 victory over the Tigers. 

After this game, the Cougars will be back in action in their regular-season finale at home vs. Dyersburg State on Saturday. The game, which will also feature a Sophomore Day ceremony prior to tip-off, is scheduled for 4:00 ET.
