The Lady Cougars Basketball team fell 59-47 to Chattanooga State on Saturday.
Britnay Gore lead the team in scoring with 11 points. She also had five rebounds and four assists. Jordan Smith was also a key contributor, recording nine points and three rebounds.
Missed free throws were a key theme of the game that proved costly for Cleveland State. As a team, the Lady Cougars shot just 47 percent (9-for-19) from the stripe. They also had a sloppy 16 turnovers.
