Softball ended their road trip with a 1-1 doubleheader split at Snead State on Tuesday.

In the first game, Kaitlyn Pickens pitched a stellar game, allowing just one run in the Lady Cougars 2-1 win in eight innings. The Lady Cougars were able to execute a perfect double steal to score the go-ahead run. Kat Cechini had four hits and an RBI. She drove in Hailey Galvan, who had two hits, in the first inning.

In the second game, Cleveland State's offense was not able to put much together as they fell 9-1 to the Lady Parsons in six innings.

The Lady Cougars will return home on Friday and Saturday to continue conference play with a four-game set with the Lady Bucks of Motlow State. Friday's doubleheader will start at 2:00 ET, Saturday's at 12:00 ET.
