Cross Country sophomore David Tullock had a huge afternoon on Friday as he signed on to compete in cross country and track and field for Missouri Valley College starting next fall.

Tullock signed his letter of intent in the Cougar Room Friday to run for the Vikings in the company of family, friends, teammates, and former coaches. He had a huge sophomore campaign for the Cougars last fall, setting personal bests in the 5000m, 7000m, and 8000m and also was one of five team members to compete in the NJCAA Division I National Championship in Albuquerque, N.M. in November. 

"I am so incredibly proud of David," said last season's interim Head Cross Country Coach Lindsey Beck. "He works so unbelievably hard on and off of the course and is a great teammate and person as well. He deserves every bit of this recognition and I have no doubt he has big things ahead for him at Missouri Valley. Wishing him the best of luck going forward!"

Missouri Valley College is an NAIA-member school located in Marshall, Mo. Tullock will also join Cleveland State Cross Country teammate Sadie Lane on the college's teams, as she signed with the Vikings in February.
