The Lady Cougar Softball team went 1-1 on the second day of the Border Battle tournament Sunday in Cartersville, GA. They posted a 3-2 mark overall in the tournament as a whole.
They lost the first game to Shelton State 8-1. 1B Auburn Collake had a perfect day, going 3-for-3 and posted the lone RBI.
They won the second game 10-9 in a close match up against Georgia Highlands College.
Softball will be back in action on Saturday, February 23rd when they play their home opener against West Georgia Technical College. They will play a doubleheader with games at 1:00 ET and 3:00 ET.
