Softball Suffers Two Tough Road Losses
The Lady Cougars lost 4-3 and 11-5 at Vol State Friday night.

Softball suffered two tough losses at Vol State on Friday night.
In the first game, the Lady Cougars lost 4-3. The game was close until the bitter end, when the Lady Pioneers hit a walk-off single to pull out the narrow victory.
In the second game, Cleveland State lost 11-5. They led 5-1 in the middle of the third, but after tying the game in the fifth inning, a big sixth inning helped Vol State pull away.
The Lady Cougars will be back in action tomorrow looking to tie the series at two a piece with a doubleheader at 1:00 ET.
