Cleveland State's Isabella Messer was named the TCCAA volleyball Defensive player of the week.

She picked up 48 digs and threw in four service aces to help lead her team to two wins.

Messer is currently third in the conference overall averaging 4.21 digs per set.

The Cougars wrap up their regular season Monday night hosting Snead State with game time scheduled for 7 p.m.
