Cougars Volleyball Player Kaydence Houston Signs to Play at Johnson University
Kaydence Houston is continuing her volleyball career at Johnson University.
"Kaydence has provided a tremendous example of leadership," Cleveland State head volleyball coach Peyton McDaniel said. "There aren't many people more committed to our program and to getting better every day."
She played in 44 sets this season finishing with 35 kills and 44 digs averaging over a point per set.
"This is kind of a full circle moment for me because Kaydence is going to play for Coach Vannoy, who is the club coach that helped me get recruited to go play college volleyball," McDaniel said. "I'm very excited to see Kaydence go play for a program that I am already a fan of."
Houston was the lone sophomore on the Cougars volleyball team this past season and is on her way to playing at a four-year school.
