Cleveland State Hires Nolan McDaniel as Assistant Volleyball Coach
Cleveland State has officially hired Nolan McDaniel as assistant volleyball coach.
"We are super fortunate to add Nolan to our coaching staff," Cleveland State head volleyball coach Peyton McDaniel said. "We were lucky to have him on our bench as a volunteer last year, but we are excited to have him on in a more official capacity."
Nolan McDaniel played club volleyball at the University of Tennessee while earning his law degree winning a national championship and competing in two final fours while running a 5-1.
He was a practice player for the women's team at UT and is a former coach at Boyd-Buchanan, Democracy Prep High School and for GoExtreme VBC in Morristown, TN.
"His offensive expertise and wealth of knowledge about the game will allow us to continue to cultivate the competitive environment we are striving for," McDaniel said. "I am thrilled to have him on the sidelines with me and am confident our girls have so much to learn from him."
