Game Preview: CSCC vs Walters State
Cleveland State Community College's women's volleyball team takes on Walters State tonight at 6:00 PM at home. This is the first matchup of the season between the two teams. The Lady Cougars are coming off of a loss to Gadsden State in their last game and are looking to right the ship against the Lady Senators. Walters State is reeling off a win versus Lenoir Community College and is currently 3-2 (0-0) in their last five games. Last season, CSCC struggled against Walters State, losing all three of their matchups in straight sets. Cleveland State will look to use their experience as a team to be the Lady Senators as CSCC's roster contains nine sophomores compared to Walters State's six. The Lady Cougars hope a win against Walters State can build some momentum into the season as they are just 2-2 (0-0) in their last four games. The two teams will match up again on October, Saturday 13th at Walters State.
