Cross Country Releases 2019 Schedule
The Cougars and Lady Cougars will race in nine meets this season and will also play host to the inaugural TCCAA/Region VII Meet on Oct. 26.
Cross Country has released their schedule for the 2019 racing season.
They will kick off their season with a tune-up in the Race to Achieve 5K in Cleveland, Tenn. at Tinsley Park at 8:00 AM on Saturday, Aug. 24.
As far as local races go, the Cougars and Lady Cougars will race in Covenant College's Mountaintop Invitational in Lookout Mountain, Ga. on Friday, Aug. 30 at 6:00 PM, Dalton State's Roadrunner Invitational on Saturday, Aug. 31 at 9:00 AM, and UTC's Twilight Meet on Friday, Sept. 13 at 6:30 PM.
Cross Country will also return to the Freed Speed Open on Saturday, Sept. 21 at 9:00 AM, the Maryville Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 27 at 4:30 PM, and the Berry Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 19 at 9:00 AM.
The inaugural TCCAA/Region VII Meet will be hosted by Cleveland State on Oct. 26 at 10:00 AM. Site is to be determined.
The National Championship meet is an open meet and the Cougars would travel to Albuquerque, N.M. on Nov. 9 to compete.
