Scoring Abundant for Cougs at Four-Years

Former Cougs are doing big things at their four-year institutions! Here's a rundown of what our alumni have been up to for the past week.

Ariana Smith '19 (Johnson University, NCCAA) and the Lady Royals Volleyball team earned the four-seed in the NCCAA Division II National Championship with an at-large bid. Johnson will play fifth-seeded Arlington Baptist on Wednesday at 2:00 ET in Greenville, SC.

Darius Turman '19 (Edward Waters, NAIA) was a perfect six-for-six from the field in the Tigers' 107-78 win over Morris College on Wednesday, scoring 14 total points paired with three assists and four rebounds. 

Jordan Smith '19 (Johnson University, NCCAA) led the all-scorers with 20 points and grabbed 11 boards in Johnson's 83-74 victory over Mississippi University for Women on Friday. She scored 16 points and grabbed six boards in the Lady Royals' 66-65 loss to Southwest Virginia on Tuesday.

Romero Hill '18 (Claflin, NCAA Div. II) reached double-digit scoring in both of the Panthers' games last week, scoring 10 and grabbing five boards in the their 77-67 loss to Augusta University on Wednesday and scoring 10 and grabbing seven boards in their 60-58 win over Fisk University on Saturday.
