Three different Cleveland State teams were named an NJCAA Academic Team of the Year on Thursday. These prestigious awards are given to NJCAA teams that earn a 3.0 or higher as a team for the academic year.

The award winners were Baseball, with a 3.17 team GPA, Women's Cross Country, with 3.12 team GPA, and Softball, with a 3.07 team GPA.
