
Cougars Basketball Season Ends in Conference Tournament
Cleveland State's basketball season is over.
The Cougars lost to the Pellissippi State Panthers 63-58 in the TCCAA region 7 conference tournament.
Cleveland's leading scorer Jeremiah Hayes was out the last couple weeks of the season, but did play in the game scoring 12 points. The Cougars leading scorer on the night was Josiah Marsh putting in 15 points while also bringing down eight rebounds.
DeShun Payton came in off the bench for the Panthers to score a game high 17 points. He was one of two Panthers to put up double figures in scoring.
The conference tournament is being played this year at Southwest Tennessee Community College in Memphis, TN.
