The Cougars golf team opens their season tomorrow at the Snead State Chuck Kalanick Memorial. Tee time is at 9:00 am eastern time Sunday, September 22 with the tournament lasting until Tuesday at the Cherokee Ridge Country Club in Union Grove, Alabama.

"I'm excited about our first tournament to kick the fall season off," head coach Shannon Skipper said. "We have three freshmen alongside two sophomores starting in our season opener. It's a packed tournament with great teams,102 players will be participating, and it will be a great test for our players."
There are eight total golfers on the roster this season with three being returning sophomores. The team is coming off a season where they qualified for the NJCAA national tournament after finishing in the top three at the Region 7 Southeast District Tournament.
The Cougars have four total tournaments on their fall schedule this year with their next tournament being at the Sandhills Community College Stitch Flyers Longleaf Golf Club in Pinehurst, NC being played September 30 and October 1.
