
Cougars Golf Finishes Fifth at Ron Marshall Spring Fling
Cleveland State competed in The Ron Marshall Invitational Spring Fling hosted by Illinois Central in Scottsboro, AL.
"We started off rough, but made a nice comeback and ended in 5th place out of 15 teams," head coach Shannon Skipper said.
Andrew McCarver placed 15th with a +16 final score while Carson Minish finished in 20th at +17 for the Cougars.
Minish shot +2 on the second day of the tournament for Cleveland's best score, and McCarver finished at +3 on each of the final two days.
"We hit the road this weekend heading to Foley, Alabama competing in The Jefferson State Invitational," Skipper said.
