CLEVELAND STATE WELCOMES STEVE JAECKS TO LADY COUGAR SOFTBALL

Cleveland State Athletics are happy to welcome Steve Jaecks as a member of the Lady Cougar softball team as an assistant to Head Coach Katie Willingham.

Jaecks comes to Cleveland State after a 3 year stint as an assistant softball coach and interim head coach at East Carolina University.

Before his time at East Carolina, he served as the Athletic Director at TCCAA opponent Chattanooga State since 1999 before moving to ECU in 2012.  He also was an assistant softball coach at Chattanooga State for his final eight years.   He was a vital member of the 2012 staff at Chattanooga that won the NJCAA Softball World Series.

He was a softball coach and director of sports, intramurals, and campus recreation at Southern Adventist University in Collegedale as well as an associate professor of physical education prior to his move to Chatt State.
