Cleveland State will advance to the quarterfinals of the TCCAA Tournament after taking care of #10 Jackson State 76-59 on Friday night.
The Cougars never trailed in the game, as they came out firing from the get-go. They went on a 5-0 run and built their lead to 14 with 8:12 left to go in the game.
Two Cougars had double-digit scoring in the game. Delaino Walker led the charge, scoring 16 and grabbing eight boards. Jonathan King scored 10 points paired with six rebounds and five assists.
Cleveland State will face second-seeded Motlow State on Sunday, March 3rd as they continue their quest for a NJCAA National Tournament bid. Tip off is set for 6:00 ET.
