Volleyball will look to start their first winning streak of the season on Monday night as they return to their home floor to square off with Gadsden State. Match time is set for 6:30 ET.

The Lady Cougars (3-9, 0-1 TCCAA) picked up a 3-0 win in their last outing in Dayton, Tenn. against Bryan JV on Wednesday evening. It was one of their best all-around team efforts of the season, as they rolled offensively and defensively. Both Hannah Collins and Stephanie Burke had nine kills a piece, while Abbie Stinnett had a solo block and two block assists to lead the team.

Gadsden State is 10-6 to their point in their season. They have been fairly inconsistent this season, as they won five straight to start the season, including a 3-0 win against the Lady Cougars on Aug. 26 and then followed that hot start with a five-game losing streak. They have now won five of their last six matches, including their last matchup at home against Coastal South 3-0.

After this match, the Lady Cougars will host Chattanooga State in their first home conference match of the season. Match time is set for 6:00 ET.
