Volleyball's Lemons Signs With TWU

Volleyball's Aly Grace Lemons is off to a four-year college. The sophomore Lady Cougar signed her letter of intent to officially join the Tennessee Wesleyan Lady Bulldogs to continue her collegiate volleyball career.

Lemons, who was named to the 2018 All-Region team, had a decorated career for the Lady Cougars. She leaves Cleveland State as the program leader in career kills, career service aces, career block assists, total career blocks, individual season hitting percentage and individual season points per set. She also set the program record for kills in a match on Oct. 22, 2018 vs. Georgia Northwestern Technical College with 21.

"Aly Grace came in as our lone freshman in 2018 and immediately made a big impact on our roster," said head coach Alizabeth Atnip. "Not only was she a great asset on the court, she also became a leader off the court. A.G. was a consistent hitter for us both her seasons as a Lady Cougar. She was also someone that could get the team fired up when they started slipping. Through the past two years, it's been a blessing to see her develop her volleyball and leadership skills. I know she's not done yet and I can't wait to see more!"

Tennessee Wesleyan is an NAIA school located in Athens, Tenn. We wish Aly Grace the best of luck as she continues her collegiate volleyball career. Join us in congratulating her!
