Cleveland State Volleyball suffered a 3-0 defeat at the hands of Chattanooga State on their Sophomore Night Thursday evening.

Sophomores Madeline Dasher and Loryn Wilson recorded the two highest kill totals on the team with 6 and 5, respectively. Sophomore Rileigh Barbour posted five serve aces, while sophomore Sydney Allen tied Wilson for the team lead in assists with 11.

"It is disappointing to lose on sophomore night but I'm glad to have these girls on my team this year," said head coach Alizabeth Atnip. "They have made an impact on our program in so many ways. We have a couple tough away games left and then the TCCAA Tournament. I am hoping they show up like I know they can."

The Lady Cougars are back in action on Tuesday when they travel to Roane State. First serve is set for 6:30 PM.
