COUGARS MAKE IT TWO IN A ROW AGAINST SOUTHERN CRESCENT

The Cougars started slow on Saturday afternoon as they fell behind their vistors from Southern Crescent in the first ten minutes of the game, but finished strong as they won their second game in a row by a 60-51 final.

Trailing 16-6 at the 11:17 mark of the first half, Cleveland would outscore their guests 24-8 for the rest of the half to take a 30-26 lead at the break.  The backcourt combination of krish Green and Jai Howard fueled the first half for the Cougars with 9 and 8 points.  

Southern Crescent would tie the score at 30 early in the second half before Cleveland would slowly pull away to a nine point advantage.  The Cougars would fight off several comebacks before winning by the final score.

Howard would stay consistent in the second half as he scored nine more points for a team high 17 in the contest.  Green would also reach double figures with 11 points to go with a team high four assists.  Marcus Avarhart and Sageny Horace, Jr. would each finish with eight points.  Horace, Jr. would have three steals while Miguel Shaw would lead with five rebounds.
