The second round of the Shorter Hawk Invitational scheduled to be played on Tuesday April 5 was rained out with Cleveland State taking second place after shooting a 296 on day one.  Host school Shorter University won the tournament shooting six shots better than the Cougars.

Cougar individual scoring held the same from round one on the Stronebridge Golf Club course with Cain Stover leading the way with a third place tie shooting a 71.  Isaac Meador shot a 74 putting him in a tie for 10th.  Dalton Sutton came in tied for 14th shooting a 75 while Jarrett Glass with a 76 and Nic Ravnborg with an 81 tied for 16th and 33rd respectively.
