Cougar Golf Tied for Eighth after Day One at Nationals

In a field of twenty competing at the Nationals in Joplin Missouri at the Twin Hills Golf and Country Club, Cleveland State is positioned 14 shots off the lead, tied for eighth going into the second round on Wednesday May 18. 

 

Meridian Community College is leading the tournament at a +7 while the Cougars are at a +21.  Other programs of note include Walters State at a +37 good for 18th place and ABAC at a +27.

 

Individually Isaac Meador shot a 75 putting him in a 19th place tie while Dalton Sutton came in with a 76 good for a 28th place tie.  Nic Ravnborg and Jarrett Glass are tied for 57th both shooting a 79 with Cain Stover scoring 83 putting him tied at 100th
