COUGAR GOLFERS FIND THEMSELVES IN MIDDLE OF PACK AT SVSU SPRING INVITE

The Cleveland State goilf team finds themselves in 11th place in the SVSU Spring Invitie bein held at the Kearney Hill Golf Links in Lexington (KY).  The Cougars are the only two year school in the field of NCAA Division II programs.

They had a first day score of 305 (+17) which placed them right in the middle of the 21 team field.  Wes Spillers led the squad on the first day with an even par round of 72.  Dalton Chuba was next with a 2 over par 74.  Trent Cooper was next with a 79 (+7) and harrison Haupt with an 80 (+8).  Tyler Jackson rounded out the scoring with an 84.

Action is scheduled to resume with the seond round starting at 10 a.m. this morning.
