COUGAR GOLF TEAM CONSISTENT IN BULLDOG BASH

The Cleveland State found consistency this week in the Bulldog Bash which was hosted by Union University.  Playing in a field of NCAA II and NAIA institutions, the Cougars played three solid rounds where each individual found consistent scores in each round.

The three round, two day format was challenging as players played into the dusk on the first day and then finished their second round early the next day before heading out for the final 18 holes of play.  As a team, the team shot a +42 over the three rounds, but had team scores of 300-305-301 for a final aggregate of 906.

Dalton Chuba was the highest socring Cougar as he tied for 19th with a three round total of 221 (74-75-72-+5).  Wes Spillers was one stroke behind with a 222 (72-75-75-+6) to finish in a tie for 22nd.  Trent Cooper found himslef in a tie for 44th as he shot a 230 (76-78-76-+14).  Harrison Haupt finished at 235 (80-77-78-+19) for a tie in 47th place.  Tyler Jackson was one shot off at 236 (78-79-79-+20) for a tie in the 50th spot.
