Women's basketball will get their tournament underway on Saturday as they will square off with #2 Motlow State. Tip off is set for 6:00 ET.
The Lady Cougars are entering the TCCAA tournament on a hot streak. They secured two tight road victories in their last two games, with wins over Dyersburg State (83-81) and Southwest Tennessee (95-91, OT).
They are 0-2 against Motlow this year, falling 75-57 on Dec. 7 and most recently 87-79 on Feb. 1.
The Lady Bucks (18-10, 10-5 conference) are led by F Janna Lewis, who averages a team high 22.8 PPG. She also leads the team in rebounds with 11.6 per game.
The TCCAA Tournament is hosted by Cleveland State this year! Come out and support your Lady Cougars and their battle for a NJCAA National Tournament bid. Tickets are $7 per tournament day.
