Evelyn Thompson continues to use her summer to serve and share her basketball expertise.

This weekend, the Cleveland State head Women's Basketball Coach travelled to Nashville, Tenn. to be an instructor in the High School Basketball All-American Skill Camp, which helps high school players focus on individual skills.

"I was able to work alongside one of the directors, Coach Lundy, who has been a part of this organization for the past several years," Thompson said. "It was an opportunity to work with a group of dedicated athletes who were eager to get better and open to learn more about the game of basketball. It is always great to lend my knowledge to a group who is eager to receive it."

As for the progress her pupils made in their short time together, Thompson was thrilled at what the athletes were able to accomplish.

"The improvements that we saw in just a couple days was impressive," the Lady Cougar coach said. "This group was one of my favorite groups with whom I've had the privilege of working."
