The men's cross country team posted personal best times across the board while the women stayed consistent, all just a few seconds off their own personal bests; at the Berry College Invitational. Luis Perez and Madison Guider each lead the CSCC Men's and Women's cross country teams, respectively. The course itself was a challenge as our runners trekked through some difficult hills in a race jampacked with top talent.
Head Coach David Kyle commented, "We faced some really good teams on at Berry. There were mostly D-1 and D-2 schools there. I told our runners it was like our region meet, since we do not have a region or conference yet. I had my top 3 guys all run their best times this year on a very challenging course. All my ladies were just a few seconds off their best times. It was a good meet and great competition. We will definitely plan to go back next year for sure."
