The Cleveland State Men's Basketball team came together on Wednesday evening to secure a huge 65-48 victory just south of campus on I-75 at Chattanooga State.
The Cougars were down 8-0 to start the game, but then battled back to take a lead late in the second half and never looked back as they held the advantage the rest of the contest. Cleveland State also scored 33 points off of turnovers compared to the Tigers' 11.
It was a big night for both Damian Forrest and Jaiden Julian. Forrest led all scorers with 23 points while also chipping in six rebounds, two blocks and four steals. Julian came close to matching Forrest's point total, scoring 21, while also grabbing six boards and recording two steals and a block. Khristian Green led the team with five total assists.
The Cougars will hope to carry the momentum in this win into their next contest at Roane State next Wednesday. Tip-off is scheduled for 6:00 ET.
