Damian Forrest, a 6'10" forward from Fort Collins(CO), has singed to continue his academic and collegiate athletic career at the University of North Alabama, a member of the Atlantic Sun Conference.
Forrest, who played his freshman year at Michigan-Dearborn, averaged 15.4 points and 10.4 rebounds this year for the Cougars. He recorded 10 double doubles in the 18 games the Cougars played this year. He had a season high 25 points late in the season against Chattanooga State, and posted a season high 16 rebounds in tow contests, both against Motlow State.
The Lions were 13-11 this past season which included an 8-7 record in the A Sun Conference. They would advance to the A Sun Conference Tournament championship game where they fell to the #1 seeded Liberty Flames by a 79-75 final.
