The Cougars saw their opponents step on the gas from the start as Walters State sped by them on the way to a 76-55 defeat.  The Senators would build as big as a 34-point lead in the game before Cleveland would close the game with a flurry.

Cleveland struggled in the first half to see their guests build a 42-22 lead by the halftime break.  They would build their lead to 34 by the 7:53 mark of the second half before the Cougars began to hit shots that they had missed earlier in the contest.

Three scorers reach double figures for the Cougars led by Nicholas Beaird-Kennard with 19 points which all came in the second half.  Damian Forrest was next with 111 points and ten rebounds.  Maurice Dickson finished with ten points.
