Cleveland State Community College took on Chattanooga State in a conference road match on Wednesday Evening. Chattanooga State won the match by a score of 3-1.
Set one went to the Lady Tigers as they snagged the victory by a score of a 25-23. It was a close, back and forth set between the two teams and Chattanooga State just barely edged out the Lady Cougars for the match lead.
The second set went to the Lady Cougars as they defeated Chattanooga State by a score of 25-20. Cleveland State jumped out to an early lead and held it for most of the set, tying up the match at one a piece.
The third and fourth sets both went to the Lady Tigers as they closed out the match by scores of 25-15, 25-23. The Lady Tigers ran away with the lead in set three but had a close finale in the fourth and final set.
The loss puts the Lady Cougars at 2-3 in their last five games. They'll look to improve their record on Thursday as they face Catawba Valley at home.
