The Cleveland State Men's Cross Country team had it's first signing of the year, signing Luis De La Pena from Dalton High School.

Luis comes from a strong Dalton team and will join his former teammate Derek Gallardo here at Cleveland State. Head Coach David Kyle said, "Dalton has great coaches and they have a very competitive cross country team. Their runners are used to hard work and possess a great work ethic." 

Coach Kyle continued, "I believe Luis will work hard and help our men's team continue to improve. Luis is just the first step in building our team for next year. We are just waiting on some signing dates to continue building our team."

Luis De La Pena and company will look to produce another successful season for Cleveland State Cross Country.
