Cleveland State lost both games of their double header against Motlow State.
The Cougars (9-14, 5-7) dropped game one 14-9 and game two 11-5.
Motlow State (9-8, 6-6) hit three home runs in each game while rightfielder Caleb Gipson homered in game one and first baseman Nelson McKnight hit his own shot over the fence in game two for the Cougars.
Gipson went 2-4 driving in two runs and scoring twice in game one and was 3-4 in the second game driving home another pair of runs. Shortstop Jon Jon Read was 5-7 on the day with two runs scored and two R.B.I.
Second baseman Brogan Jones finished with four runs batted in and doubled in game two. The Bucks leftfielder Tanner Jones led all hitters on the weekend homering twice, including a grand slam in game two, driving in seven runs while scoring four times and doubling.
Cleveland State hits the field again on Tuesday hosting Calhoun Community College. First pitch is scheduled for 2 p.m.
