
LADY COUGARS STRUGGLE IN SECOND HALF; LOSE TO DYERSBURG
The Lady Cougar saw their conference record even out 1-1 as they could not overcome a dreary second half as the visiting Dyersburg State came away with an 80-59 win. Cleveland was outscored 37-21 in the second half as they only hit on 21.9% of their shots compared to 46.9% from the visitors.
The squad placed three scorers in duble figures with Catherine Davis (pictured) and Leisa Butler each finishing with 12 points. Abby Hubert came off the bench to add 11 points.
Toniya Hurst came off the bench as well to lead the team with eight rebounds with Julia Gaither leading with three assists. No Lady Cougar had more than one steal in the contest.
