
LADY COUGARS GET BACK IN WIN COLUMN WITH 67-45 WIN OVER GADSDEN
The Lady Cougars put an end to a three game losing streak as they were able to defeat the Cardinals of Gadsden State 67-45 Tuesday night. Cleveland built a 16-13 lead by the end of the first quarter, and slowly built that advantage over the next three quarters for the win.
Pacing the way for the Lady Cougars was Leisa Butler (pictured) with 21 points. She was followed with double figures by Abby Hubert with 11 and Catherine Davis with 10.
Keya Jenkins, Hubert, and Butler were top rebounders with eight, eight, and seven, respectively. Julia Gaither dished out six assists in the contest while also grabbing two steals and blocking two shots.
