Men's Basketball has officially released their 2019-2020 schedule.
Last season's TCCAA champions will open their season at home as they welcome Bryan JV on Nov. 1 at 7:00 ET. The Cougars are 4-1 against the Lions all time. These two teams have not faced each other since 2015.
Cleveland State will play their first conference game of the year as they travel to Gallatin, Tenn. to face Volunteer State. In 2018-2019, the Cougars split the season series 1-1 with the Pioneers.
A couple other key dates for Cleveland State will be on Nov. 20 at 7:30 ET and Jan. 29 at 7:30 ET. The Cougars will undergo a 2019 TCCAA Championship Game rematch against Roane State, hoping for a similar result to last year's postseason.
The Cougars will honor their sophomores on Feb. 22 when they host Dyersburg State at 4:00 ET in their final regular season contest. After Sophomore Night, they will enter TCCAA Tournament play at Columbia State Feb. 28-Mar. 3 hoping to repeat as champions two years running.
