Dickson Has Career Night in Memphis Saturday

Men's Basketball suffered a heartbreaking loss in Memphis, Tenn. on Saturday evening, falling victim to a last-second Southwest Tennessee game-winning tip-in and a 73-72 loss.

Multiple players for the Cougars, though, played well and were able to break into double-figures in points. Demonte Person led the team in scoring and assists with 17 and six, respectively. Jager Dickson, who had a team-high and career-best eight rebounds, also scored a career-high 15 points. Torian Daly put together another great game, scoring 14 points while also recording two rebounds and a steal.

"It was probably our best effort on the road this year against a good team," said head coach Lee Cigliano. "But, in a 40 minute game, we have to do all of the little things well to be successful… It's a tough loss because we did some things well today."

The Cougars will be back in action on Wednesday as they face Walters State at home. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 ET.
