Cleveland State suffered a tough loss on Tuesday evening, falling 98-92 to Combine Academy. The Cougars were up by double-digits, but they were unable to stop the Goats' comeback, as they stormed back with a barrage of three-point makes.

It was a great offensive night, however, for multiple Cleveland State players. Jaquez Hicks led the team in both points and rebounds while recording yet another double-double on the season, scoring 22 and grabbing 10 boards. Kerry Pratt also scored 20 while also posting five rebounds, four assists and a block. Jon Morgan scored a career-high 19 points while also grabbing six rebounds, dishing out two assists, and stealing the ball once, while Jakobey Hitchens scored 16 points of his own along with three rebounds, an assist, a block, and a steal. Demonte Person led the team with seven assists. 

The Cougars will be back in action on Saturday as they welcome conference foe Volunteer State to their home floor. Tip-off is scheduled for 4:00 ET.
